(Lead-rein not permitted, Walk trot and canter only)

Aged 15 years or over. (Age to be displayed). Rider any age. May be led.

THE CARLYLE-CLARKE MEMORIAL TROPHY

MEMORIAL TROPHY and Special rosette for best 25 years and over. 

CLASS 13: BEST RIDER 1.30pm

(Lead-rein not permitted. Walk, trot and canter only)

For best rider most suited to their pony. 13 years and under. No jumping required. Leading rein not permitted. Special rosette for best rider 10 years and under.

THE AUDREY HUNT CUP 

CLASS 14: FAMILY PONY 2pm

(Lead-rein not permitted)

Pony, or horse not exceeding 15.2 hands. To be ridden in snaffle bridle. Special Rosettes for best 14.2 hands and under and best 12.2 hands and under.

ROYAL SCOT TROPHY 

GYMKHANA: 2.45pm

Rosettes for the first four places will be awarded in the Gymkhana events.

Classes will be run in 2 sections – 9 years and under; and 15 years and under.

Child 10 years or under. May be led. 1st round 1ft 9ins (53cm) max.

THE GLENMOOR OBERON CUP presented by the Bryant Family. 

CLASS 17: MINI JUMPING 11.30am

Child 12 years or under. 1st round 2ft 3ins (70cm) max.

PURBECK SADDLERY CHALLENGE CUP 

CLASS 18: CLEAR ROUND JUMPING 12.15pm

Starting at 2ft 6ins (80cm). Jumps will be raised later.

Rosette for every clear round. 

CLASS 19: JUNIOR NOVICE JUMPING 1.30pm

(Combination not to have won more than £50 for show jumping)

14.2 hands and under. 2ft 6ins (80cm) 1st round. Child 15 years or under.

WESTBURY CHALLENGE CUP 

CLASS 20: OPEN NOVICE JUMPING 2.45pm

(Combination not to have won more than £75 for show jumping)

Any height horse or pony. 2ft 9ins (89cm) 1st round.

VINTER CHALLENGE CUP 

CLASS 21 HAVE-A-GO- CROSS-COUNTRY

For those who have never had a go or who just want more practice

First round payable at Secretary’s tent if you do not have a bib number, otherwise pay before you go at the ringside. 

Class 22: BEST PARKED HORSEBOX or TRAILER

                        RULES

1.     The decision of the Judges and Committee shall be final in all matters.

2.     No Horse or Pony to be ridden by more than one competitor in any one class.

3.     Riders to pass left to left in warm up area.

4.     No responsibility can be accepted by the committee for any accident, damage or loss incurred on the ground or when riding a horse or pony, to spectators, competitors, their horses, dogs or their property.

5.     Competitors must be covered by their own Personal Liability insurance.

6.     Riders are responsible for their own insurance for personal injury and injury to their horse.

7.     Riders are responsible for assessing the conditions on the day and determining whether it is safe for them to participate taking into account their standard and experience.

8.     Riders are required to conduct themselves and retain control of their horses so that they do not put themselves or others at risk.

9.     Riders must only walk their horses in any area other than the designated training, practice or competition arenas.

10. Hard hats (kite marks PAS015 (2011), VG1 01.040 (2014-12), ASTM F1163 (2004a or 04a), SNELL E2016 or AS/NZS 3838 (2006 onwards) to be worn by all mounted riders including Fancy Dress class.

11. Back protectors (BETA Level 3 2009 or 2018) are strongly recommended for all jumping classes.

12. Dogs must be kept on leads and under control of the owner at all times. Dogs must not be left in cars unattended. Dog mess must be bagged and disposed of appropriately by the owner.

13. Abusive behaviour shown towards animals, competitors, show volunteers or members of the general public will not be tolerated and may result in being asked to leave the Showground.

14. Speed limit of 5mph at all times on Eastbury Estate.

15. Due consideration of horses in the area is to be taken when parking horse boxes and cars.

16. Horses and dogs must not be left tied up to vehicles unattended.
